Installing drivers CanonCanon W6400 XP

I've got a Windows XP Pro and I try to install my printer Canon W6400.
But everytimes there's an error when trying to install, he can't find the usb connection. The usb port works fine allso the cable. I follow the instructions narrowly but no result.
I allso tried to install the .inf driver manually through the Windows Device Manager but this doens't work, I allso downloaded new drivers no result.
Can somebody help me with this?
