After installation, Intel PROSet takes control of the Intel wireless device. Intel PROSet must be used to configure and manage the Intel wireless device. If Microsoft Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service is required to configure and control the Intel wireless device (which is the default), then do not install this package. If Microsoft Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service is required to control the Intel wireless device after Intel PROSet is installed, uninstall the Intel PROSet software and restart the notebook.

NOTE:

After the files are unpacked, the Setup program should run automatically. If the setup program (sinstall.exe) needs to be run manually, look for it in the download directory.
