iPAQ Pocket PC h5400 Battery Driver
  • Corrects issue with the Standby Power Setting value where the iPAQ would sometimes not operate on battery power.
  • Corrects issue in Battery Driver, Version 1, contained in SoftPaq SP23837, where the iPAQ would not recognize the CF memory card after a reset.

    Installation

    HOW TO USE:

    NOTE: This is a RAM installed driver and will need to be reapplied in the event the iPAQ Pocket PC experiences a Full Reset.

    1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

    2. Establish an ActiveSync connection between your iPAQ Pocket PC and host PC.

    3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Battery Driver update version 2.00.

    4. Select 'OK' if asked to re-install.

    5. Select 'Yes' when asked to confirm file replacement for the file Battmgr.dll on the iPAQ Pocket PC.

    6. Perform a normal reset after the installation for the patch to take affect.
