"The restore could not be completed successfully because the selected backup was created from a different type of model."
The error occurs because Activesync Versions 3.1 and 3.5 detect changes in the system board. Enhancements
This utility modifies the backup file to be compatible with a Version 1.07 system board. Notes

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.Entering "Space Bar" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this newly created directory.
3. Execute PATCHER.EXE from the newly created directory from step 2 and follow the on screen instruction.
4. You may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1 if you wish.
5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory created in step 2 if you wish.
