Installation
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory.All files are unpacked into this newly created directory.
3. To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen instructions.
4. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and files created in step 2.
5. Shut down and power off the computer.
6. Place the newly created Diagnostics diskette in Drive A:, and power up the computer, allowing the computer to boot from the diskettte.
7. To install or upgrade Personal Computer Diagnostics on the Diagnostics Partition, select "Create" or "Update" partition from the "Manage Diagnostics
Partition" menu, and follow the prompts.Or select the option to run PC Diagnostics from the diskette.
