Enhancements/Fixes:
The README.TXT file on the created diskette contains detailed information on the patch files that apply to each system component.This SoftPaq contains updates for the following C-Series components --
- Serial and infrared ports
- PC Card Restore
- Auto Restore (Flash Manager Restore)
Notes
IMPORTANT:Do not use the "PC Card Restore" or "Auto Restore" (also called Flash Manager Restore) that came with your C-Series until you have applied the patches in this SoftPaq.Both "PC Card Restore" and "Auto Restore" are updated by this patch installer.
This is an initial release.

NOTE: Windows CE Services 2.X has been discontinued and replaced with Microsoft ActiveSync 3.x.Compaq recommends upgrading to the latest version of ActiveSync, which is available on www.microsoft.com.
Installation
HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.
2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.You will be prompted to insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.
4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.
5. For installation instructions, refer to README.TXT on the created diskette.
